HOLY SHIT on Dying Scene Records
Holy Shit is digitally streaming on Dying Scene Records! The hugest thanks to Dave and everyone at Dying Scene for digging the album and doing hard work to promote it. It is unreal and I am nothing but grateful.
"I must admit, when a promo from some Chicago based artist named “Davey Dynamite” hit my inbox a couple weeks ago I did not think I was about to discover the next Dying Scene Records band or what would become one of my top 3 favorite albums of 2016 – I mean, the cover art and the band name didn’t exactly conjure up a mental image of the angst ridden punk rock I typically like to put out on the label. Regardless, I jacked in the headphones, spun up the first track and found myself intrigued 30 seconds in. It appeared to be a catchy yet slower tune but there were hints of a build and by the 1:55 mark, HOLY SHIT!, things just exploded into the saliva spraying, vein popping, voice losing fury that embodies everything I love about punk rock. Turns out this first track was but just a taste of what the rest of the album would hold and by the time I reached the last song I knew I had discovered something extraordinary special."
Friskie Morris Sessions Ep. 39
Stephen DeFalco and Chris DeQuick had me on Friskie Morris Sessions to play a few songs and talk about my history with punk and the music scenes I've been a part of!
The Orange Room Sessions featuring Davey Dynamite
My good friend Sam Bond is starting a cool music/video session thing in his basement in DeKalb and he invited me to be the first guest!
"Davey Dynamite doing his thing in the happiest place on earth, The Orange Room. Special thanks to Brad Lowe and Brad Cahill for their assistance in this adventure."

Star Sessions: Davey Dynamite
NIU's Norther Star did an interview and some songs with me in February 2015. Thanks to all the staff for working on it!
the homies blog//VIDEO FEATURE: the passion of davey dynamite
"Davey Dynamite is a punk singer with a heart of fiery gold. His everyday disposition is mild-mannered and unassuming; when he is playing and singing a ghost overtakes him, making his voice ragged and forcing jerk into his bones. He stomps and wails, and on the other side you can see something flying.
We interviewed Davey about his new album WAITT – We’re All In This Together, a spiritual stance as much as a political one — and he blessed us with songs. Many many thanks to Kiam Marcielo Junio for filming and Joseph Varisco of JRVMajesty for editing."
Davey Dynamite - "Let's Be Honest Part 2" (Folk-O-Rama Session)-
"Dave came to hang out at the Paper Ceilings show at Paradise Smoothies in New Lenox and afterwards we filmed this super cool session!"
